Mickey Lawal is Vice Chairman for Nigerian operations for CAMAC. Mr. Lawal began his career more than 20 years ago as an accountant. He joined CAMAC’s Allied Energy Corporation in 1988, rose to the position of Vice President, Finance and was subsequently transferred to Nigeria in 1991 as the Group Executive Director, Finance and Administration. In 1992, he was promoted to the position of Managing Director, with responsibility for overseeing oil and gas operations for all CAMAC upstream and downstream divisions. In 2010, he was promoted to Vice Chairman. Mr. Lawal is a graduate of Harvard University’s Advance Management Program. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Southern University.
